Classic Anthony Burrill work here with the above music video for ‘Snake’ by Acid Washed. Also created were graphic pieces used on for cover art and online material. The video, produced through record company Recordmakers is like a minimal geometric visualiser to the music, which left me almost hypnotised either through the imagery, or how much I adore Burrill’s work.

Really impressive music vid for the first single release coming from the new Massive Attack album, Heligoland.

Directed by Edouard Salier, the video perfectly captures the mood and feelings from the song, and then transforms them into a sweeping interpretation of a dark, surreal and yet glossy form of a urban cityscape in process of massive destruction.

Watch for yourself, pretty amazing stuff.

To promote the new Kasabian track called Underdog, Sony Music and Umbro got together create a ‘football hero’ game which fuses both the Guitar Hero style gaming system with football. It’s an interesting mix, but I’m not really sure what the point of it really is.

Maybe I’m missing something, or maybe it was just for the fun of it, it’s an interesting watch, just think this idea seems very generic. Perhaps take away a few of the productions, give it a just a very very slight homemade feel to it, and maybe just take Kasabian out of the whole picture…?
